I talked to the developer of related articles mod at Core-Joomla and he said

 

"K2 implement the same content events that standard joomla content implements. But I am not sure whether it implements or not. Please contact K2 team if they implement Joomla content events or not"

 

Can K2 work with related articles mod some how?
