Hey all,

 

I'm going crazy. I cannot seem to show any list of k2 items in a module to save me life. I've tried the K2 Items module, and it keeps showing up as a square that needs am image or something. All I'm looking for is that similar to the Joomla Latest News module with category id and item count.

 

Can anyone suggest anything?

 

I've also tried K2 Content module but it does not show anything, just a few horizontal lines if I select all categories...

 

I'm not even sure if K2 is the right tool for this client, I'd like to hope so, but I'm having difficulty figuring out how to get things to work out properly...

i think I have the same problem as you :

I am quite new to joomla, but slowly I am getting hang of certain stuff. But I am having a issue which I cant seem to solve. so here is
my problem:

1. i installed a template called ja anion and k2 and ja extensions.
2.
but now when I go to JA CONTENT SLIDER module for Category selection
for it to display the articles, all I see there are categories from
joomla but since my articles are published in K2, and they are not
showing there so i am unable to choose categories from k2 to display as
content slider, can anyone plz help me out. I have also attached an
image of ja content slider module to explain the problem properly.

3. I tried to look for some modules which could help me but they didn't work like k2 BNR content, please point me to the right direction
since I am burnt out looking for the solution so in simple words is
there anyway to intergrate ja content slider module with k2 so it shows
k2 categories.

Why don't you try lof k2 slideshow module. It's content slider and works really nice.

I currently have lof slideshow working and it is great- the best out there actually as far as k2 content slideshows go.

However, my issue is that I cannot find a module that lists items in a category...much like latest news in Joomla.

Going on a limb here but ..

 

I've had this "image problem" when trying to add articles to a "News Rotator" that didn't include an image.

 

The fix for THAT would be to include an image in the article IMAGE tab and not in the CONTENT tab of the article.

 

Hope it'll fix it.

I just purchased the DM K2 Bundle for about 20.00 (Euro). It has a few modules I'll use. The Article List Pro mod is very helpful and exactly what I needed an was looking for.

This is the right module. Admin/Extensions/module manager, now select Type -> mod_k2_tools, set functionality to type category list and publish it where you want.I don't know how to make the list collapsed. I have 380 Categories so You can guess how long my page is.
