I have had a production site and a testbed site.  On both of these the category view failed to show any entries.

 

Following a check on the possibility of a template issue (that wasn't it) I built a new testbed site from scratch.  On the new site the only extension I've installed is K2 and it's working perfectly.  I have then tried uninstalling K2 from my production site, removing K2 files from the modules_ directory and re-installing it, leaving everything at default.  Still however the category view fails to show the items.

 

I'm wondering if there are any other extensions for Joomla which might affect this function (as far as you know).
