Hello!I'm new to the K2 component and have some questions. I'm using K2 v2.4.1.First of all, it seems like the default link structure is (mine for example): dhoulmagus.nintendo-daily.com/news-info/ds/item/47-the-legend-of-zelda-spirit-tracks

Is there any way to change "item" to a different word? For my site, it would be more fitting if I could change it to "article" or "news." Also, how can I change/ reset the number that's prefacing the item name?

 

During my initial setup, I somehow had my links set up as:

dhoulmagus.nintendo-daily.com/component/k2/item/49-mario-kart-wii

 

Why does that type of link still work and how can I get all my links to have the same structure, like the first one I mentioned?

I think the word "item" in the link yuo can't change because it's inside code of k2. Anyway you don't need to change it in the link. No one looks at the link.

 

However you can change the word "item" to any word in the displayed item (for example: Rate this item to Rate this article) in the k2 language file. Just find certain parts and write the words according to your needs.
