Hi,

this is Stefano. Expert Joomla user but relatively new to K2.

We are facing an issue. The CSS does not seem to behave consistently.

In particular, take a look at this page:

lab.edu.sg/adobe/photoshop.html

As you can see, the intro text is pretty tidy.

However, when you click on the title of any entry, the intro text become gigantic:

lab.edu.sg/adobe/photoshop/photoshop-foundation-c-ps-101.html

Why so?

How to fix it?

In general the category listings and the item listings use different css settings. The css is not inconsistent, it is displaying exactly what it is told to do. For example on the item page (lab.edu.sg/adobe/photoshop/advanced-digital-imaging-with-photoshop-c-ps-301.html) line 144 in your k2.css is setting the title size as 36px and the introtext is set at bold (line 182 in k2.css). I doubt if these are the default setting so someone has mofified the css.

I suggest you use Firefox with Firebug and go through your item pages and set the css to reasonable settings. You could also consider going back to the default css files and then work from there.

Hi Terry,

thanks for your reply.

However I did not change the CSS at all. I had no reasons to do so.

That is exactly the one I have downloaded in the package and installed. Never touched.

Could you please post somewhere or send me by email the "original" CCS?

Thanks

Stefano

Now I have replaced the CSS both in the template folder and in the com_k2 folder. Nothing changes.

I have checked the CSS and this IS the original CSS:

div.itemIntroText {color:#444;font-size:18px;font-weight:bold;line-height:24px;padding:4px 0 12px 0;}

Yeah, I ultimately edited the CSS.

Very strange though, because that was the original CSS.

I thought the issue was caused by some sort of CSS overlapping. But it was plainly an ugly style :)
