Using K2 tools 2.3

I have serveral pages, each one displays content from a subcategory (and subsubcategories).

Fine it works.

I have setup a search box on the each category page, each box is filtering the search for a specific category. In debug mode, i can see the search is indeed restricted to the given category id. BUT it displays also the content from all others categories where the search fits... 

Is this a bug?

Anybody any clue ?

search doesn't filter categories... which is confusing in the module settings and would be a nice new feature.
