Having searched and seen various ideas with regard to replacing the Joomla front page with a K2 driven one I'm not sure if there's any easier way.

We are looking at Joomla and K2 as a way to build a website. One of the requirements is to have an intermediate page before the real front page. Possibly several pages (flash/html) but certainly at least one.

Put most simply - the front page of the planned website will feature some text and three buttons. No Joomla screen interface at all. By clicking on one of the buttons the user will be taken to down one route into the site , click on another button and they'll be taken down a different route.

Question is - which is the best way to achieve the first step replacing the front page with a very simple page of flash/html  ?

Thanks Terry - that looks like a workable solution. Guess I should remember it's Joomla still and should have started there rather than K2.
