Hello,I have problem with one my site.It give me 88% CPU usage on main page, index.php.It have K2 2.4.1 update today (it was before 2.4)Of other componet it use just Advanced Module Manager 1.9.8 and JCE 1.5.7.4Only one extra Joomla or K2 module, mod-facefans and just one extra plugin LazyBackup 2 but scheduled to do job during night and one time at day.Any kind of idea what can be problem? I believe problem is with K2 as when I disabled all other problem is still active.And btw Joomla is 1.5.20

Try to disable all K2 plugins, modules, and rename K2 folder. Then see if it only that.

 

You have mootools.js loaded twice. Is juventus.hr your website ?

At that website in profile you have unbeleivable <!-- Plugins: AfterDisplayTitle --> in source code.

Configure all that K2 modules to pull only number of Items you are showing in them. Somethimes they pull, in background, much more, then they display only few.

Juventus.hr was my site but moved to other host. I have just joomla+k2 present on my host.

Mootools.js are twice at juventus.hr.

 

Once Joomla and once template mootools.js. Try to disable template mootools.js in index.php file.

Just check that you don´t loose some menu effects or some functionality with template.

Juventus.hr are not on my host and old joomla site for this one is offline. But anyway I change template for it in simple one.

Problematic for CPU is jadransoccer.com

You need to put it online.

I do better thing, remove Juventus.hr joomla installation.

After that put Jadransoccer.com (problematic CPU site) again on line. For now CPU change from 0 to 2%. I have 5% limit.

I see that one template image is returning not found 404 error, but it is not main problem.

And you have some template problem. Border around content area dissapear in the middle.

CPU seems to be oki. No protest from hoster.

And from template I think to change it.
404 error are mystery. I look Error log and there all missed pic or other are real present. So no idea why it show it

Now I can't enter under K2 items. I ever receive:

In the end I made radical change. Change template, disabled all menu. Now is visible just one item in K2.

You can´t enter because you have been given minimum of server resources by hoster.

They don´t send mails for nothing, and you didn´t change anything.

There is slightly posibility that you have settings (in hosting panel) to get emails at some errors.

 

This problem requires Joomla superadmin login, FTP login and hosting panel login.

 

So, if you dare...send them to private message inbox. After you can change them all.
