I have just started with K2 and am excited about it's features. It seems to work the same way I think and I love how it is organized. I imported all my items, set up a test home page with 3 short articles in a 3 column display. Leading count is 3, have checked all parameters (that I know of), saved and resaved the items, switched around the order, checked cache is 777, and no matter what I do the folder image, category title, and category description only shows up for the left item. Am I missing something that I am not seeing?

added: Just realized I could edit the title .. and did.

Ok I think the problem is resolved because it is performing as designed. I just realized there is not a separate "category" heading, image, or description for each article and the folder image has a (3) after it indicating that it is a single category descriptor for all 3 items.
