Hi,

if I create a K2 item whith an alias name containing accents (like éè) then these items are not visible in the XML sitemap and the HTML sitemap contains invalid links. My K2 extension for XMAP adds these items correctly to XMAP but of course with the stored alias names in the URL.

If I turn Joomla's SEF function off then the sitemaps are created correctly because the links are encoded (by XMAP I think).

If I create a Joomla article then the alias names are alwas translated to names without accents or vowels when the article is stored, e.g. "üöäé" becomes "ueoeaee".

I am not sure wether K2's behaviour with not translating the alias names is a bug or a feature but I think it would be a good idea if K2 would also translates the alias names so that they contain only ASCII characters less then 128.
