i've been banging my head trying to solve a simple problem.

 

I've been intergrating content from an existing site, some of the content is nearly 10 years old and i've been asked to keep the article dates intact. My problem is when i create a menu item to show the 
Category it will only show me the stuff from this year but not from previous years.

 

Is there any way that i can change a setting ot change a file to enable me to view older stuff.
