Modules disappearing in articles. SOLVED? was created by Moises Huerta
Hi. I had the problem about modules not showing in some articles and was a big mess, i look around and notice that i wasnt alone, that was scary. I read several posts and they where related to ITEMID and menu assignment and parent categories selection.
I read a post about this plugin: ADVANCED MODULE MANAGER (free!!), i went and install it. It is a great tool and gives a lot of options, and after 2 days of breaking my head i hit the option for INCLUDE NO ITEMID (yes) (to force itemid i guess) and the site is working just great!
That option is (after installing Advanced Module Manager) in the properties of the module you want to show in MODULE ASSIGNMENT / Menu Items.
I just wanted to share this in case someone needs this info (didnt put it in specific post as reply because there are several posts)
GODspeed

This module saved me literally hours and days of templates tweaking.
Sometime you want module in K2, Sobi2 listings, but not in detailed view. Just example.
With this module you can show at right related Items for K2. Some module that pick Items by tags, or custom extra field.
With Joomla native it is impossible. Unless you don´t want to make a hidden menu link for every Item.
