Though my question is related to my template, I'd like to have a good understading of how K2 works.

I'm using Gavick's yourshop. I'm trying to add "items" to the mainpage, as "AMV FIDELIO" and "JVC" are shown in this demo: demo.gavick.com/joomla15/nov2010/

Those links I'm trying to imitate take to COM_K2, which I guess is a K2 component. There is my question: what component is it? It's a simple and plain K2 Content? Is it a K2 Tools? Is it other component I can't find on my dashboard?!

Thank you very much for your assistance, I must admin that "component" versus "modules" versus "plugins" got me a bit confused!
