Hi,

I am using Joomla 1.5.22 and Panacea template from RocketTheme.

I installed K2 v2.4.1 and ran into problems because my php.ini file is not loading mbstring. This is now solved by a Apache rebuild by my provider.

But in the Information tab all the directories media/k2 are not writable. I can create categories etc and they show on my website. I have checked the permissions on the directories (/public_html/media/k2) and they are all 755.

Too make sure nothing fouled up because of the mbstring I uninstalled K2 and after that succesfully completed reinstalled K2. Directories are still not writable. I can create categories but I just noticed that I cannot attach an image to a category.

I want to solve this before continuing. What can I check?

Thanks!

BTW: I imported my Joomla content into K2. When trying to create a K2 based menu (category/item) all/most of the options on the right are greyed as soon as I select a category at the top. Is that expected behaviour? Could it be related to the permissions? Or is it a different issue altogether?
