First off would just like to say a thank you to everyone involved in this for making it.

 

Right now to my questions.

How on earth do i permanently disable the following in the shown in the image below. I tried looking in the parameters setting but no joy, only way i could manage this was to disable it was to go to the individual category parameters and disable it that way.

I am probably missing the rather obvious but can't see it so any help pointing me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

Simple way - create a master category - disable it there in the params, set other categories to inherit from it.

Override - Create an override - Edit Item.php and remove the offending code
