Hello,

is there a way to replace the default e-mail link (which is in text format) in the autor details with a mail icon?

So, all i want is icon insteed of text!

You could go into the user.php file and change the code around or... I would try hiding the text and replacing it with a background image in CSS.  I believe the class for the user email is <span class="userEmail">

I never done it myself but that's probably how I would approach it.

The first thing i tried was to modify the item.php (i want the change in the item view) but with no luck!
