Hi! I want to know if anyone can help me hide items from category layout and the title "Categorias secundarias"

Hi! Sorry for the link but this articles are for registered users. My bad. This is what I want, I want to show categories and inside the categories appear the articles from this particular category and the member pick whatever article he want it to see. But If you see the image where the categories appear also the documents for those categories appear below. How I can hide those articles from the category layout. I hope you undarstand my english language. Ah! Also I want to delete the title of the subcategories that said "Categorias Secundarias"

Hi! Manolis. I found how to resolve this issue. I used the settings of the parent directory change de leading count to value = 0 on every count and now I just show up the childrens categories.

Every day I like more K2. I hope you can upgrade K2 to joomla 1.6.

The most common way to do it by the way is to set the parameter "catalog" to "Yes" (In case you dont have any items in the top category).

Its very easy.

Open \components\com_k2\templates\default\category.php

Search for <h3><?php echo JText::_('Children categories'); ?></h3> and just delete this line.

 

By default its in the line 77.
