Just a long shot...try inspecting the title with firebug - page number with firebug....if they are seperate set display to none in the css file of the page number beside the title.

Solved it...by using UberPageBreak from JoomlaWorks. It's a nice plugin, since it lets you control a bunch of other stuff too, so anyone having the same problems should try it.
