Hello,

I know about overriding K2 default template... But I want to learn if we can assign different templates for K2 component categories...

 

For example, I want to place K2 video section at the top of the K2 content (as you know normally, it is at the bottom of the K2 content) in Video Category. But I want to keep default K2 template in other categories.

 

Is this possible, if it is, how can I add new templates?

Look for modules/mod_k2_content and put a copy in a similar place at the mod_k2_login was suggested in the link above and edit the files to override the content module

Thanks for the reply... But I didn't mean that.

I just want to apply different layouts for every category of K2. It's all about items, not about modules.

I think Layout Template option (you can see it from the image that attached) is about what I asked but I don't know how to use this feature...
