I am using a template from Joomlaxtc called ecospa and for some reson some of the articles that are listed in the K2 items list, when I go in to edit any of them and hit save all I get is a blank screen after I click on the save button in K2. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you are getting a blank screen, change the server tab in global settings and turn error reporting on highest and see whats causing the error.

Thank you for replying to me. Well, I did as you suggested and here is the error code I recieved.

Fatal error: Call to undefined function mb_internal_encoding() in /home/sandboxs/public_html/administrator/components/com_k2/tables/k2item.php on line 74

Get your host to enable mb_encoding and you wont get this error.

You can check the status in the k2 dashboard - click information

Thank you, that is exactly what I did. they are adding the extension as I type this to my PHP 5.2.9.

 

How can I enable the mb_encoding?
