HiIs anyone able to help. I have purchased Simple Image Gallery PRO installed it and activated the plugin.

I upload a zip to an item and no thumbnails appear in the admin area though it gives me the option to remove the gallery.

 

On the front end the Gallery title displays but no images displaying.

 

Am I missing something simple?

Did you get any error messages?

Did you zip the images correctly? (only files, no folders in the zipfile) How big is the zip file (try with a zipped up file with only a couple of images)

If you are using a subtemplate switch to default

Turn error reporting on and see if you get any errors on either back or front end

I will try it on a different site as it is a clients live site so I do not want to switch the template.

Put it in Debug mode and no errors come up Browse for zip then press Save and it saves. Zip file is small with 4 images.

I have tried on a different site using a different template and same problem persists.

No error message, no thumbnails in admin or frontend

sussed it, I was zipping the folder the files were in this was not showing a folder within the zip file however on uploading it was creating a folder. Selecting the images and sending to zip worked.
