I need the cleanest, smallest, fastest loading templates for use with K2. What is your recommendation?

I think you will need the cleanest, smallest, fastest template for Joomla. You could simplify the default k2 template a little bit with an override, by removing unneeded code, but if things are set not to show in the category and item views, it probably would not be much faster.

Thanks William. Maybe I didn't state it correctly. I need to use a standard Joomla template for the front end that is the cleanest, smallest, fastest loading template I can get. The template would need to work with no modifications with the K2 component.

(I have used a CMS called JoomSuite which was not compatible with my RocketTheme templates, for instance).

Can you suggest some templates? I've looked at the TemplateWorks' "Keep it Simple" and "Freshpick" which look promising. Also IceTheme's "Newsy" template appears to be streamlined and compatible with K2.
