"Add Item" Not Loading was created by Denis Devine
I set up a test site combining:-

Joomla 1.5
K2 (latest)
JomSocial 2.0
Styleware's K2/JomSocial 'birdge'

I managed to get the site to work so that I could use JomSocial to register a new user AND still have that user edit articles from the frontend. Everything on the test site works fine.

Now I'm building the proper site. I've used the same components and the same set-up (far as I can tell). But for some reason it isn't possible to edit articles from the front end.

There is no Add Item link in the login module once logged in. There are not Edit Item links in any of the catergories/items.

"Enable frontend editing" is activated in K2 parameters. I can't work out why "Add Item" it isn't available.

Can anyone help?

Many thanks,

Dom

I have just discovered the only user group in which it does work is "Site Owner". It does not work for "Registered". I have not figured out why yet, so any help would be really appreciated. Thanks!

I figured it out! Yep, I had not configured settings for "Registered". Duh!

But now I have a new problem. When I click on "Add Item" the lioght-box opens and at the top it says:

COMPONENTNOTINSTALLED

Beneath that, it says:
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/steinerp/public_html/plugins/editors/jce/libraries/classes/editor.php on line 164

Does anyone know what this means. I'm no coder and it goes right over my head. Looks like something is not installed. But I have no idea what...

Thanks,

Dom
