I am attempting to make some shortcuts in my admin console to different item categories. Since I have all different types of content inside K2 such as profiles, photo galleries, etc. it'd be nice if I could make it a little easier on my admins by creating shortcuts on the main admin dashboard page. I am just having a hard time figuring out what the URL's would be. When I select a category in my filter I get the landing page I want for my shortcut but the URL becomes mysite.com/administrator/index.php. I am looking for something similar to the way the URL appears on my frontend such as mysite.com/administrator/index.php?option=com_k2&view=items&task=category&cid=2 but nothing I try seems to work. Any suggestions? or is this not possible?
