When someone submits a comment on my site, it is taking several minutes (up to 5) for it to appear. This isn't good because people are resubmitting many times (one person submitted 14 of the same comment!) because it appears the comment was not saved properly.

Is there anywhere I can speed up this process?

Alternatively, the text that appears after submit is hit says, "Your comment will be published shortly" - can it be edited? I couldn't find that text in the com_k2 folder files anywhere.

Bumping. I am getting users to repeat comments every time they are on the site because this issue; installing JomComment with the K2 plugin didn't help because the K2 comment appearance comes back if you revisit the page you've commented on (I'm assuming that's a cache issue?).

 

Please any help?
