Okay I have recently moved over form Drupal and am recreating one of my sites using joomla as it seems to work better for a few friends of mine so I decided to try it out. Currently the site is located at: bobhoil.com/indiegamej/ but will eventually be moved to indiegame.us/ once I get it working. I am having trouble getting the content to display how I would like it to on the front page. Basically I want it to be a grid like setup displaying New Games, Top Rated, and Most Viewed in three columns on the front page. I have tried multiple modules and was hoping I could get some assistance.

Iwould suggest using a grid template customized for K2 like Grid2 or postnote

or another template based on an underlying grid template

You can also customize k2 overrides and acheive something like this

So is there no option similar to "Views" in Drupal? Where you can customize and set it up how you would like on any theme?
