I'm trying to move a site from Verio to Godaddy. The site uses K2 and only 1 or 2 lines of text show in the articles on the moved site. I tried copying and pasting the html from the old content to the new site and the 1st 2 lines are the only thing showing still. Any ideas?

You mean that you see 1 or 2 lines on the item page or on the category listing? In the frontend or the backend?

On the item page in the front end - all the text is there when you open the article in the back end, but being cut off after one or two lines in the front end.

I see the same portion of text in both sites. Despite that, you could check your category parameters for word limit. If you have set word limit for the introtext on lists then the words will follow that rule and show accordingly.

When I view the article in the backend all of the text is there.

Another problem with the new Entruepreneuredu site is the images under college profiles on homepage aren't showing up. I can't figure out why.

Are you sure that in the backend you see all of the text and not just those 2 lines? Check your parameters just in case you have used the word limit or for the introtext not to show, etc.

 

The images are not shown because the path is incorrect.

 

I'm confused why the image's path is wrong when all the other image's path worked. If you click on the orange Articles tab all of the photos are the same. They should be different.

 

Is this a problem with the database?

Have you put the path of the new site correctly?

In your homepage, of the moved site, the images are being searched in

/libraries/thumbnail/thumbnail.php?image=images/stories/colleges/carnegie-mellon-university/logo.jpg&width=155

 

while they should be searched in

/entrepreneuredu/libraries/thumbnail/thumbnail.php?image=images/stories/colleges/carnegie-mellon-university/logo.jpg&width=155
