Hi,

My home page shows highest rated articles from various categories. I'd like it to display only the introtext ,as defined in the K2 categories, for each article. Instead the articles are showing up full length. Some of these are incredibly verbose.

I've been pouring over the forum, but I'm not finding a definitive answer to my issue. My home page is a K2 Itemlist/Category link sorted for highest rated items from several top rated categories. I have set "Fetch items from children categories" to Yes.

Looking over old forum posts, I have set the parent categories with an intotext word limit of 25 under the "Item view options in category listings". I then set the child categories to inherit properties from the particular parent categories.

From the previous forum posts, this seemed to be the method to use - although it looked like a number of people couldn't get it to work.

If there is not a way to do what I want with settings changes, I'm okay with using an extension if you can recommend one.
