Hi guys,

I'm using K2 for product showcase of my current Joomla website project.

Somehow I can't get the categories configuration right, I've set up the settings on specific categories so it can only show the article image, hiding the author - intro text - created/modified date. But when I look it up on the front end these settings won't apply at all. All the article still showing author name, intro text, created/modified date.

Also on the image size parameter I've assigned "Primary count" images as "small", but it kept showing the "medium" size on front end.

 

I don't normally have these problem before.

Fist of all make sure that you are editing the right category parameters. Check if you have set for this category to inherit parameters from another one and last but not least check the menu link parameters in case you have selected to show multiple categories.

You right. It was my mistake I didn't check deep & thoroughly setting up all the sub categories since it has 2 to 3 sub category level on each main categories.

Now everything works fine.
