Hey all,

 

I am trying to setup a few different template for different categories. I made one called "blank" for the frontpage category, and it works fine. However, every other category uses the default no matter what.

Is there something that could cause that?

even though you have selected another template, those categories are still working under the default? Have you checked the menu items?

Whoa total noob fail :)

So I was assigning menu links to point to items, and thought that editing the category file was how to control it, but now I see it is only for category view, so editing the proper item file worked as it should. My bad!
