1.5.22

K2 2.4.1

I have a K2 blog on the home page of this site, but when I click 'read more' it appears to open up the full item on the home page still instead of a page of its own. Any ideas?

Hi Rob,

It could be a couple things -- module position assignment or blog/homepage configuration -- or a combination of the two.

Are your homepage-specific modules also assigned to the blog category?

Is your home page menu link directly linked to the blog category or is the blog category a sub of the home category?

Looking at the blog category page at www.rob-brown.com/Blog/Page-1.html leads me to believe it's one of these two issues -- module position assignment or blog/homepage configs.

That's my best guess. Both are easily fixable.

Hmmm... still can't work this one out...

The home page link is a 'K2 Category' menu item.

The modules on the home page (above the blog and to the right) are all assigned to the home page menu item only.

I have also set up a K2 Latest Item menu link ('Rob's Blog' in the main menu) amd have put some K" modules down the right hand side of that page. But again, when I click on the blog title to reveal the whole item, I get the home page blogs appearing again!

Any ideas why this is happening?
