I have some strange problem,when i install K2 on my new site (1.5.22) i get no icons see related pic

 

K2 version: 2.4.1

The permissions look fine @ first sight.(according joomla admin page)

I checked the images are in the directory : components/com_k2/images/dashboard/ ... .png

 

Anyone who have this before

Update: have tested on my localhost and there is no problem i check the hosting company.

If anyone know what could cause this problem i will be pleased :)

 

Ok Problem fixed,

 

The problem lay with the default permissions given to a file and directories created by PHP, such as during installation of components.
 

 

This has happened to me once, and probably because the connection dropped during installation. Is your installation a fresh one?
If it is just copy the files from the installation on your localhost i.e just the icons.
you can find K2 under /root/components/com_k2
This method worked for me twice.
