I'm new to K2 and not new to Joomla, but I can't find an easy tutorial how to let users that are registered by ourselfs (authors) can add new articles.

 

We want to have it like this:

1. author logs in at front end with account details provided by us

2. after login de author doesn't see anything but a WYSIWG editor and the option 'add new article'

3. the author can't publish the item

4. the administrator gets a message that a user added an new article

5. the administrator publish the article

 

Is it possible to do it this way with K2?

User logs in

Just below the login message there is a link add new item

Clicking that brings the editor

Depending on the K2 usergroup they have or dont have right to publish

Try K2Multinotify for email notification
