hello.  i have installed K2

Set parameters to allow for users in Group A to be able to add entries

I can login with K@ login successfully

Click Add Item either from account box or "my page"

 

here is where the problem starts

 

When ADD ITEM is clicked I am redirected to a K2 page that is "out of" the initial site - it's like its a popup but it isn't in a new window

I can add anything anywhere - click SAVE and it all disappers

no information is ever saved

can't save item to category so extra fields can be displayed

 

been working on this for weeks - not good ....

I have just realized - by installing a new system and adding K2 that it appears that the lightbox is what is causing the trouble.  in the new site-  the K2 add item opens in a lightbox window and works fine.  In my current site, the K2 add item does NOT open in lightbox and that seems to be the problem.  what would be stopping the lightbox from working?

I FIXED IT!  I started looking through the moo tools in the plug section and noticed that an upgraded mootools wasn't enabled-  I enabled the plugin and now I have a lightbox popup for ADD ITEM and all is well!
