K2 css italics error HELP! was created by GoDHanD
I know it's a bit selfish to ask for help on the first thread, but I think most people who join product related forums join with intention of seeking help.
When they get help, they give back and I suppose that's how online communities work.

My problem is an odd one, a few days ago the front-page text just got italicized, everything beyond the leading articles has been italicized including the modules.
Whats strange is that this problem is restricted to the front-page alone as all other sections and article view looks fine.

I have checked server error logs to see if there was a module/joomla plugin that's causing the problem, so I thought my best bet would be to ask in the K2 forums, if it's a K2 problem I'll get help and even if it's a joomla problem I'll still get help.

Could you locate the exact location of the italization? Where exactly does it begin in your page? Check where in your items do you have italics and see if the tag is not closed properly. This is, probably, the cause of your problem.

Specificaly, check this item "Naruto Movie set for 2013 release [April Fools Joke]".

You could either enable the html cleanup for the introText (It's in the global K2 parameters), or put a limit for it, through the category parameters, and the cleanup will occur automatically.

Thanx a lot for the great advice, I really hope I can help someone else in need on the K2 Forums, now I can proudly post an image of my K2 powered website in the showcase section.

In an unrelated question, I've been trying to emulate article view you get in the user view and fail to get the text to go to the right side of the image.

www.game-sait.com/index.php/itemlist/user/62-kudakwashezimunya.html

you can see what I mean in from the URL.

At the page you provided I see the text right next to the image. I don't see the problem, unless I misunderstood?

The look on that page is the one I want to have on the front page, I've tried different combinations but my text ends up below the images unless I'm missing something :D.

In home page your item image size is bigger. The text can't be on the right because it doesn't fit. Make your images smaller, like you have them to the user page list, and then add a float:left to the k2.css to the .catItemImageBlock.

I will try that, I dread playing around with css files, I guess that's why backups were invented.
