I've tried looking at some K2 settings, but I can't seem to find what I'm looking for.

 

What I'm trying to do is keep certain item sections from appearing in the "Latest From" area, as shown in the attached screenshot. The article "Pokemon Tainers" for example, is in a category that I do not want listed in the "Latest From" area.

 

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Are you using k2 content module for displaying this?

If its inheriting from the parent category, you will have to move the cateory or multi select the categories you want to pull from i think

I've done hours of research on how to filter specific item categories from the "Latest From" section and haven't found a solution. For now, I just disabled the "Latest From" feature from being displayed all together. This isn't what I'm wanting to do, but it's the only solution I could come up with for now. If anyone knows how I can filter item categories from being displayed on the "Latest From" area underneath the items it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the reply, marco. I done more research on this and haven't come up with anything at all. Like you posted above, it probably has to be done using some custom coding. I think that this feature should be implemented into the next version of K2. Let me know if you figure something out on this.
