When you are in a K2 item > Image tab and try to upload an image that is larger than 2MB all you get is a blank white page. The error log shows a 500 error.

If you upload the larger file to the Media Manager and then go into your K2 Item > Image tab and use the Browser Server, select the image in the Media Manager, again all you get is the blank white page.

How can a user attach an image to a K2 item that is larger than 2MB?

With the current digital camera most images are larger, so we need a way to be able to have the images automatically upload and be resized for use.

Thank you for your rersponse. I have been getting the hosting provider working on the problem. It turns out that it isn't a php memory issue but a timeout problem. When the image is being resized, there is a timeout with larger images. The setting that needed to be changed was IPCCommTimeout from 40 seconds to 240 seconds.
