I try to explain my problem:

I have one main category and 3 subcategories: a, b, c.

I created a menu to display this category and the relative subcategories as child (using joomla).

The result is that in homepage I see only the main category (and it's OK), when I click on the main category I go on the main category's page and I see in the menu the main category "active" and its child subcategories (and it's OK too), but when I click on a subcategory, it displays the subcategory page as it should but the menu return to list ONLY the main category. Is there a way to fix that? Anyone experienced the same problem or know another way to list category menu in the way I described?

When I am in a specific Item, however, i see in the menu the category and the subcategory tree with the specific subcategory to which the item belong that is "active" (as it should be). So, the only thing that doesn't work is the subcategory page, in which the menu list displays only the parent category and not displays the other subcategories.

Hopse someone can help!
