Is there a way to create your extra fields and then assign then to multiple extra field groups.

What i am having to do is duplicate the same fields for multiple groups and this is very time consuming.

I would like to know the same thing.

Using this plugin, you can assign more than one extra fields groups to a K2 category.
Also, you can render multiselect fields as checkboxes.

I think it is the same purpose, but with different implementation.

Why do you want to assign fields to more than one group?
The answer will make it more clear.

Also, assigning one field to multiple groups can't be done without hacking K2 core files, or using another component, in addition to a K2 plugin.

I see that, if you plugin does not show duplicate EFs, then it will solve my issue.

But the question was about how to assign the same extra field to several extra field groups(not to K2 item groups). maybe i dont understand and i miss something, sorry then.

For example, i need to use "district" extra field at least in two extra field groups (restaurants and excursions). Is it possible to do it with this plug-in or not?

I've answered this question before, my approach is to reuse the groups, even if a group has only one field, because reusing fields requires hacking K2 core files.

At the end, you will have what you want, reusing the fields without having to recreate them in redundant groups.

In your case, you will create a group for this field, and use it anywhere.
