Which means "Written by" is usually false.  Like here:

I need to change "Written by" to "Posted by" but I can't find the file that is in.

 

Any help on this?

This is the second time I've posted a problem to K2 with no response.

 

I notice that a lot of other posts get no reponse.

 

Is there a better place for K2 support?

 

Maybe this is just the wrong place?

You need to edit the k2.ini language file. Browse to your language folder and look for k2, then en_GB. Within that find the file named k2.ini and rename it to k2.txt.

You can change the default language for k2 there. Rename it back to k2.ini and overwrite the original. I suggest rename original to k2.ini_old as a backup. Let me know if you get it right.

Next question: K2 items are not showing up in the JomSocial Activity Stream... They say it's a K2 problem and to check in with you guys.

 

The Stream is shown clearly on the front page... K2 items are listed under the main menu as NEWS.

I would like these in the Stream.  I would also like them auto-tweeted with a bit.ly shortend URL at the 140 cutoff mark.

Hi there

Im not sure how to include k2 items to the JomSocial activity stream, try searching for a plugin for k2 or JomSocial to integrate the two, alternatively try searching for someone with a similar problem.
