Hi everybody,

The link "Like this? Tweet it to your followers!" doesn't work since few days with all Joomla website using K2 component.

I think Twitter.com change something.

How to fix this bug ?

Thanks.

You can find the fix in this

thread community.getk2.org/forum/topics/tiny-url-not-working-on-tweet?xg_source=activity&id=3536014%3ATopic%3A14532&page=3

Only issue is that it adds "+" instead of spaces in the titles, but it works.

I've change twitter to the old page, and its working fine again .... So it's for the K2 team I assume?

This cost me a lot of time, (no) thanks to the twitter team for (not telling!!

Hi Tom, Can you clarify how you fixed this? What do you mean you "changed twitter to the old page"?

No, in order to change this we need to change the code that generates the URL in K2. It must conform to the new twitter link format.

Otherwise you're asking every user who clicks on the share link to know that they have to switch to the old twitter to make it work--and that's not possible.
