I am facing this strange situation. It has been asked by other K2 user but could not find a solution so asking it again.

 

Problem: I made two User group. One group Advanced can create and edit their own items. Other, Basic group can just view item. Advanced group can successfully create an item but i have kept the option that admin can only allow it to get published after checking out its content. so when admin opens the item from backend, the author gets changed and due to this the user loses the article of his own can dont get option to edit that item.

 

Please tell me what shall I do... ???

There are many similar question asked by other users but most of them were not replied at all.... I hope to get a solution or atleast a guidance to solve the issues...please thanks..

In dropdown option of Users chose again real user. If i understand you OK.

Thanks for the reply but there is no option to choose a real user in the backend.....
