I am trying to add an image using the K2 image uploader. Regardless of whether I upload from my computer or use an existing image on the site server, the image doesn't show up anywhere. The images are only a couple of KB so am doubtful it is due to their size.

I have increase the php memory limit from 16M to 64M and the image is still not showing.

I have looked in the cache folder and the images appear to be created, however, when I FTP them over to my local machine from the site server, its as if there is nothing in the file. No image is shown.

I am using Joomla version 1.5.23, K2 version 2.4.1 and PHP 5.2.17.

I have a similar issue on a site hosted with Network Solutions, which is not recommended. The issue seems to occur due to file and directory permissions issues. Intermittently, the uploaded photo will not show, though it does actually load onto the server. When this occurs, I have to manually change the image file permissions. I don't know that this is applicable to your specific issue, but it is a start.
