Hi,

 

I've read the installation documentation and managed to install K2 on my Joomla site, however when I attempt to import the Joomla content I get the following error message...

 

Fatal error: Call to undefined function mb_internal_encoding() in /home/ozsports/public_html/administrator/components/com_k2/tables/k2category.php on line 49

Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

First go to Components - K2 - Information tab

on the left see ifMultibyte string support is enabled.

If not, check with your hosting provider and get them to turn it on before trying to go further

It is disabled. I have asked my provider to enable it.
