can i remove modul "latest from administrator" under the article?

It is in Category settings. You can remove it in Item manager too.

ok, all folks above, i am using k2 2.4.1.  i am making my first joomla website on localhost. and i have the same problem with k2. i searched google and reached here. but frankly i couldnt find the way out as aforesaid explained by some.

 

@Dylan Humphreys - i could not find "Latest items from author". but i could find "items - parameters" on right corner. and similar parameters for catagories etc.

 

but even in parameters i could not find what u have mentioned. so please guide me where have i gone wrong?

If you want to hide "Latest From Administrator" on all articles in a category. Then you should do it at the Category level. Just got to that particular category, see the category parameters on the right and click on -> Item View Options and it will expand. Got to the bottom and look for  - Author Options. There you will find the "Latest Item From Author" label with options to show or hide. Just select the Hide and click Save. - Refer to to the image attached.

However, if you just want to hide the "Latest From Administrator" in a single article or item. Go to the selected item, the item parameter will be on the right and click on -> Item View Options and it will expand. Got to the bottom and look for  - Author Options. There you will find the "Latest items from author" label with a dropdown box to choose. By default - "Inherit from category" will be selected, if you want to hide just choose the Hide option and click save.

i am grateful for your guidance. i clicked the category and "in" the category i got what i wanted. previously, i had been looking in parameters of "k2 categories" where a list of categories of k2 is shown. i had to go inside the category and do it.
