Hello

I wish to replace Sobi2 with K2 on my new site (it is an under costruction site). I need to know if it is possible to import the Sobi2 items into K2. They have just one extrafield to get googlemap coordinates from address.

I wonder if I can set the search into K2 for specific categories only and specifying which field, if there is an advanced search module for K2. For example if I set an extra field for "City", can I restrict the search to that field?

YOuwill probably need to sql dump to xls and use this to transfer the records

Thanks a lot. I'm going to investigate if Sherpa does search into regular category and field. For the sql dump, it is so complicated because Sobi2 uses a very strange table structure, with fields into one table and contents into another one.

There are tools like thisthat may help with exporting instead of dumping
