Hello

 

I am using today's (23 June 2011)  SVN of K2 2.5 on a new install of Joomla 1.6.3

 

I can create K2 items, but cannot then edit them - error is:

500 - An error has occurred.
DateTime::__construct() [function.DateTime---construct]: Failed to parse time string (Never) at position 0 (N): The timezone could not be found in the database

 

In the item list, the created date column displays oddly :

23/06/2011 - 14:Jun

 

The database entry for the created date field for this item is

2011-06-23 14:03:39

 

Can anyone help, please?

I think I have the same problem, and I cant edit the item when created.

I have the same problem importing native article from Joomla (ver. 1.6) to K2.

Does anyone have an answer to this?

This is serious, K2 and Joomla 1.6 don't work together.

Install Joomla 1.6.4. Try.

Just did that, didin't change anything

Here is a clue:

 

If I set the finish publishing date to a date in the future, the error changes:

 

DateTimeZone::__construct() [function.DateTimeZone---construct]: Unknown or bad timezone (0)

 

Where does the TimeZone bit come from?

I just upgraded to latest K2 beta/svn and this is now fixed

I upgarde the las SVN , and install in Joomla 1.7 , and the same error:

 

500 - An error has occurred.
DateTime::__construct(): Failed to parse time string (Miércoles, 31 Agosto 2011) at position 0 (M): The timezone could not be found in the database
