Hello,

I installed K2 and allows me to create extra fields, etc.. but it fails to create the categories. I have Joomla 1.5.22 and php v. 5.1.6. Clicking on "Apply", "Save" or "Save and New" shows me a blank page. http://mysite/administrator/index.php I have reinstalled Joomla and K2 but has not been solved. Can anyone help me?Thanks

Try turning error reporting to highest to see if the blank page will thor an eroor message

OK, this is the message error:

Just to be sure, goto k2 dashboard, and check information link

on the left it will most likely say mb_encoding off

Check with your host and tell them to turn it on for your site

I check the information panel of k2 and the "Multibyte string support" option is disable (show image).

it's of reason of error?, then, I contacting with my host to active it, no?
