I'm trying to solve and issue on K2 but i'm not so good with php and i was looking everywhere but still didn't find this solution, but need your help.

On K2 backend, on Add Item page, when we try to select the category it show ordered by id. I need the category filter to show categories on alphabetic order. Cause i have more than 200 categories and it's not easy to select each one.

Could you help me please?

Go to Components -> K2 -> Categories and change the "order" manually to alphabetical order.  The dropdown menu follows the 'order' you specify in the category area.
