Price list based on area was created by Jeffrey Oldham
Hello,

I am trying to build a price list in K2.

I have been using extra fields.

The problem that I have is that I need to have a different price for a lot of geographical regions.

So its either have a long list of prices in the fields (30+ prices)

or have a separate category and therefore separate items for each category.

Is there an easy way to do this ?

Thanks Jeff

Interesting. Sorta like "zones" for delivery from "brown"

Is there any relationship between the prices from a base price?

Can you tell who is looking (like the phone company or auto mfgs. always want your zip code) before letting you proceed

They use this for pricing and avaliability (filter the results they give you)

If your users are registared with correct information you could extract location from the user data

then create a plugin to calculate based on their area x base price and display only "their price"

<-thinking in psudocode again....

Hi,

Its for prices of new houses to be built.

The geographic location is quite large and prices vary a lot between areas

The people looking at the prices wont have an account so cant rely on zip codes etc.

The price list could either be worked as a set price for each house type for each region or a % extra based on the central region.

Thanks.
